Hi, I’m Emma

I’m an ADHD coach with over 25 years’ experience supporting adults, young people and families. Alongside my professional background as a qualified social worker, I also bring something deeply personal to my work – lived experience of ADHD within my own family.

My ADHD coaching journey

My journey into ADHD coaching began when my husband and two of our three children were diagnosed with ADHD. Like many families, we found ourselves searching for practical support and understanding, but there wasn’t much available. I wanted to better understand how ADHD affects the brain and, more importantly, what genuinely helps people navigate everyday life.

As we learnt more, it became clear that knowing about ADHD wasn’t always enough. We needed practical strategies that worked in real life.

Coaching gave us those tools, helping my family build confidence, overcome challenges and create lasting change. That experience inspired me to support others on their own ADHD journey.

I understand that living with ADHD can sometimes feel exhausting, confusing or isolating. Whether you’ve recently been diagnosed, have suspected ADHD for years, or you’re supporting someone you love, my aim is to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where we can work together to find strategies that fit your life.

My Background

I have spent more than 25 years working as a qualified social worker, supporting people experiencing significant mental health difficulties and leading teams as a social work manager.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked alongside many neurodivergent individuals and families, often supporting people living with ADHD alongside anxiety, depression or emotional overwhelm. My experience has shown me that no two people experience ADHD in the same way, which is why I believe coaching should never be a one-size-fits-all approach.

I combine my professional knowledge, coaching skills and personal experience to help you better understand yourself, recognise your strengths and develop practical ways of managing the challenges that matter most to you.
